"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Infant Program: 6 weeks to 12 months

Our newly renovated Infant Room provides children with a loving and nurturing environment where they will feel safe to begin exploring the world. Our highly trained teachers work with each infant one-on-one to ensure they are receiving the highest level of care. Our curriculum offers an age appropriate music and literacy program, plenty of floor play with age appropriate toys and activities.  As a parent, you will feel confident leaving your child in this home-like program.

Bright Beginnings Childcare facility highly encourages parents to visit their child’s program whenever they are available. We feel strongly that by visiting your child’s classroom and spending time with your child’s teachers, it will give you peace of mind and comfort knowing that your child is receiving the highest quality of care. Appointments are never needed!

Waddler Program: 1-2 years old

Your energetic and inquisitive young toddler will thrive in our Waddler Program. Our curriculum provides each child with the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally and academically by encouraging them to explore their surroundings with the guidance of our highly trained staff.

Your child will strengthen their fine and gross motor skills as they discover new talents through art, music, science and imaginative play. Your child will also begin to learn valuable social skills such as sharing, taking turns and compassion as they interact with the young toddlers in their program.

Toddler Program: 2-3 years old

Your independent and active toddler will blossom in our Toddler Program. Our warm and friendly classroom provides children with an educationally enriched environment as he/she learns through age-appropriate center play, art, music, physical education, literacy and science.  Our program also introduces children to a school like atmosphere as they further their educational journey through structured learning. Your child will interact with other children during morning circle time as they together discuss the weather, month of the year, sing songs, read stories and play interactive games.

Our highly motivated staff also works with each child to strengthen independency as they work with your child to toilet train, learn to dress themselves and develop their fine motor skills.  Understanding that each child progresses at different paces, our staff prides itself in it’s flexibility to act in the best interest of each child.

Preschool Program: 3-4 years

Our Preschool/Kindergarten Program is designed to help prepare your child for Kindergarten. Although the age groups share the same building, each age group is challenged at a different educational level to ensure that they will not only succeed in a school aged environment, but will achieve mastery level skills in letter recognition, sequencing, sight words, hand writing and social development. Our curriculum offers structured learning as well as gives your child the opportunity to grow independently as they learn by center based education and free play. Our Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten program also teaches your child life learning skills as we focus on helping our community through service learning projects and community service.

For those children who are not in need of full time care, Bright Beginnings also offers a Preschool only program from 9:00-12:00, Monday-Friday, to help your preschooler prepare for Kindergarten. In this program, your child is integrated in with the full time Preschool/Kindergarten Program enrollees and includes all of the same educational based curriculum offered to our full time students. Our Preschool only program will not be open on days that the Enfield Public School system will be closed or on snow days. The tuition will remain the same as these dates have been factored on our charge.

Before and After School Program: 5-12 years

Our Before & After School Program operates during the Enfield public/private elementary school year from September through June.  Children are transported to and from the local elementary schools via the Enfield School bus system or we offer transportation to select locations. When children arrive in the afternoon, they are provided a nutritious snack, work to complete their homework, socialize with friends and have outdoor and indoor free time depending on the weather. Those children who are enrolled in our Before and After School Program also have the opportunity to attend full days of school during snow days and school vacations if care is needed.

Summer Camp Program: 5-12 years

Our Summer Camp Program is offered to school aged children beginning the day after the academic school year ends and operates until the day before the new academic school year begins. This program offers children the opportunity to socialize, complete service learning projects, attend field trips and sharpen up on educational curriculum during the summer months.
